The Future is Malaria-Free

OUR STORY

You and End Malaria Fund. Building a healthier, malaria-free Eswatini together.

Fight Malaria. Save Lives.

The End Malaria Fund (EMF) is an affiliate of the national drive to eliminate malaria in Eswatini, working across communities and regions as part of a nationwide movement for health equity.

Our mission is to build lasting solutions to the malaria burden, focusing on protecting lives, strengthening health systems, and ensuring that no one is left behind in the fight against this preventable disease.

We work directly with communities, healthcare workers, and partners to challenge the systems perpetuating health inequality. Together we seek to influence those in power to ensure that vulnerable populations have a say in the critical decisions that affect their health, their families, and their entire communities.

Because ending malaria begins with collective action.

"I am an empowered health worker, and very passionate about protecting our communities. Young children and pregnant mothers are currently being threatened by malaria, and we have the power to stop it."

Why Zero Malaria?

Have you ever wondered why:

  • Families are pushed into poverty due to healthcare costs from preventable diseases?
  • Children miss weeks of school during the rainy season because of illness?
  • Pregnant mothers face severe complications that threaten both their lives and their unborn babies?
  • Agricultural workers cannot harvest their crops because malaria keeps them bedridden?

The reason is simple: preventable diseases like malaria exploit vulnerability and reinforce inequality.

But it doesn't have to be this way. That's why eliminating malaria is at the core of everything we do — because to beat poverty, we need to fight disease.

212,500

That is how many households are protected through our indoor residual spraying campaigns.

84%

Of every lilangeni goes directly to life-saving malaria programs on the ground.

12%

Reduction in malaria cases reported year-to-date compared to previous benchmarks.

Malaria is a problem rooted in inequality. If we fight inequality, we will beat malaria.

Together, we can build a healthier world. A world where communities can exercise their right to health as full, equal citizens with real influence over the decisions that affect their lives. A world where everyone can stay safe in a crisis and recover from outbreaks.

A world where future generations know no malaria at all.

This is how we fight malaria

We design every project with and for communities
