4/28/2026
On the 3rd of November, the Board Members of the End Malaria Fund paid a courtesy visit to the Prime Minister of Eswatini. The purpose of the visit was to formally introduce the Fund and its mission to the Prime Minister, as well as to discuss potential avenues for collaboration with the Cabinet in the effort to eliminate malaria in the country.
The Prime Minister expressed strong support for the Fund’s mission and acknowledged the
importance of tackling malaria as a national priority. The discussion also centered on ways the
Cabinet could facilitate the Fund’s work, including through potential funding mechanisms and
integrating malaria elimination into national development plans.
The courtesy visit to the Prime Minister was a productive meeting that laid the groundwork for
future collaboration between the End Malaria Fund and the government. With the Prime Minis
ter’s support, there is a clear opportunity to strengthen the fight against malaria through joint
efforts and resources.
