The End Malaria Fund Golf Day
4/29/2026
Working together for a malaria‑free Eswatini by 2030
On 27 September 2024, the End Malaria Fund hosted its annual golf day—a four‑ball tournament where each company proudly sponsored and branded a hole. This event was more than sport; it was a rallying point for awareness and resource mobilization in support of the National Malaria Programme’s elimination efforts.
Fifteen companies joined the cause, including Alphsz, African Alliance, Billionaire Brother Project Management, Eswatini Building Society, Eswatini Royal Insurance Corporation, Fincorp, Logico, Public Service Pension Fund, Standard Bank, Taiwan Embassy, Ubombo Sugar, and Letshego. Their participation demonstrated the strength of private‑sector solidarity in the fight against malaria.
The African Leaders Malaria Alliance (ALMA) and Gateway stepped forward as the main sponsors, underscoring regional and international commitment to Eswatini’s Zero Malaria mission.
By the close of the day, the Fund had raised SZL 150,000.00, a tangible contribution toward under‑resourced interventions within the NMP. Beyond the financial impact, the event showcased the power of collaboration—businesses, leaders, and communities uniting under one vision: a malaria‑free Eswatini by 2030.
This version frames the golf day as:
A symbolic event (sport as a rallying point).
A collective effort (companies and sponsors named as partners).
A measurable success (funds raised, awareness built).
A narrative milestone (part of the journey toward 2030).
